Tarot in the Extraordinary, Ordinary Moments

Picture this. It’s 5am, and sleep has been elusive. I take the bin out into our old fashioned, high walled back lane and look up. There, in absolute stillness, swathed in silvered chiffon scarves is the moon. Just past full.

No breeze. No squabbling, shrieking seagulls, no bustling neighbours, cats or rats. Just me, the moon and perfect calm.

A deeply affecting moment for which I had no words. So I asked the Tarot to help me out. And sure enough, as Tarot does, it did.

The essence of the true priest is that inner call which gently reveals itself and prompts you to reach in and lift out your own heart so that it can be lit.

What more needs to be said?

The Tarot deck used is Jean Claude Flornoy’s Noblet.
